Not for navigation
Tide Day shows predicted astronomical tides. They do not include the effects of wind, atmospheric pressure, storm surge, river discharge or ice, and the real water level can differ from them by a foot or more. The site is not an official nautical publication and must not be used to navigate, to judge a bar or channel crossing, or to decide whether an area is safe. Official charts, real-time water levels and notices to mariners take precedence over anything shown here.
The data and its source
High and low tide predictions are produced by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), National Ocean Service, Center for Operational Oceanographic Products and Services. As works of the US government they are in the public domain; NOAA asks that its material be credited, which every page does. This site is independent of NOAA, which neither endorses nor reviews it. The curves between NOAA's highs and lows, the tide coefficient, the planner windows and the solunar periods are this site's own calculations and are presented as such, not as official government material.
Liability
Predictions are downloaded from NOAA and the calculations are tested before each release, yet errors cannot be ruled out. The publisher is not liable for decisions taken on the basis of this site. Please report any error through the contact page.
Intellectual property
Texts, design and code belong to the publisher; short quotations with a link are welcome. NOAA predictions remain in the public domain.
Embedding
The tide chart may be embedded for free with its credit link visible: see the embed page.

Governing law
French law applies; failing an amicable settlement, the courts of France have jurisdiction. Updated: 2026-10-13.
Predictions, not measurements: the times and heights are NOAA’s astronomical tide for the station named on the page. An onshore wind, a storm surge or a river in flood can raise the water well above them, and an offshore wind can hold it down. Never use this page to navigate.
